Crispy Cheesy Fries Recipe


 

Ingredients:

 

• 500 g potatoes, cold

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

• 20 g fresh coriander, finely chopped

• 100 g mozzarella cheese, fried

• 2 tablespoons cornflakes

• Cooking oil

Instructions:

1. Preparing the potatoes:

• Cut the potatoes into very small pieces for cooking and peeling.

• For crispier fries, soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

2. Mix the spices:

• In a large bowl, stir together the salt, black pepper and finely chopped coriander until well

combined.

3. Sauce for French fries:

• Drain the potatoes and dry them with a tea towel.

• Toss potatoes in spice mixture until well coated.

• Sprinkle the mozzarella over the potatoes, ensuring each piece gets the most out of the cheese. .

4. Frying:

• Heat frying oil in a deep fryer or pan to high temperature (about 180°C or 350°F).

• Carefully add covered potatoes in batches to prevent them from forming lumps.

• Fry for about 7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Adjust the time according to the size and

type of potatoes.

5. Recipe:

• After frying, remove the fryer and drain off excess oil.

• Serve hot and easy with your favorite sauce or enjoy as is, showcasing the benefits of cheese.
