We love this hearty and comforting sausage pie recipe. It features classic British flavors including sweet sage and tangy English mustard, and is delicious with a hint of horseradish puree.
INGREDIENTS :
- 8 ounces cream cheese (1 package), softened
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- Half a tsp of lemon peel
- 2 eggs
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 t of salt
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1 c of milk
- 15 ounces peaches, sliced, drained, and diced
Instructions :
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a standard loaf pan.
- In bowl, whisk together cream cheese and butter. Adding sugar, eggs, and lemon zest and beat to light and fluffy.
- In bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt & cinnamon. Once well mixed, slowly add the dry ingredients and milk to the wet ingredients and stir in the peaches.
- Transfering dough to prepared loaf pan and baking for 50-55 mn
- Letting bread cool before slice it.
