Monterey sausage pie

Monterey Sausage Pie – A cheesy mixture of eggs, sausage, and other staples is great for dinner or breakfast!

 

We love this hearty and comforting sausage pie recipe. It features classic British flavors including sweet sage and tangy English mustard, and is delicious with a hint of horseradish puree.

 

INGREDIENTS :

• 8 ounces cream cheese (1 package), softened
• 1 cup of butter
• 1 cup of sugar
• Half a tsp of lemon peel
• 2 eggs
• 2 c all-purpose flour
• 1 t of salt
• 1 t baking powder
• 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
• 1 c of milk
• 15 ounces peaches, sliced, drained, and diced

 

Instructions :

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a standard loaf pan.
2. In bowl, whisk together cream cheese and butter. Adding sugar, eggs, and lemon zest and beat to light and fluffy.
3. In bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt & cinnamon. Once well mixed, slowly add the dry ingredients and milk to the wet ingredients and stir in the peaches.
4. Transfering dough to prepared loaf pan and baking for 50-55 mn 
5. Letting bread cool before slice it.
